Our story

So it came to pass that Serafino Fasoli, the grandfather of the current owner Franco Fasoli, purchased the five hectares of farm land which still constitute the land estate of the company, and to which approximately one hectare was added in 1994 following an additional land acquisition.

Story

"... the five hectares of farm land which still constitute the land estate of the company..."

The story of Cantina Fasoli began in 1960, during the peak of the economic boom which our nation was experiencing during the years following the Second World War.
It could be said that the company is a direct offspring of that boom, because it was during that period that due to a shortage of vineyard workers a family of counts was forced to sell the land which is now in the possession of Cantina Fasoli in the town of Fumane, which is located in the Valpolicella wine zone north of Verona. The sharecroppers were gradually abandoning the fields to seek work in the industrial sector, which was in those years in a phase of rapid development.

Today Cantina Fasoli is still, as in the sixties of the last century, a completely family-run business, where Franco and his closest family members manage the vineyard and the cellar, assisted by relatives in moments of greater work intensity, as during the harvest phase, strictly manual to safeguard the integrity of the grapes.
